MAVERICK POET AWARD FINALIST “Seven Sisters”
Lisa Rosenberg served as Poet Laureate of San Mateo County, California, and is the author of A Different Physics, winner of the Red Mountain Poetry Prize. A former engineer and Wallace Stegner Fellow, she has been awarded a Djerassi Residency. Her poems explore natural and cultural landscapes, inherited models, and the interwoven terrain of the human and the technological. Her poem “Seven Sisters” explores small correspondences in nature, to notice and question our devotion to received narratives.
